Swaminarayan Temple
Women have been prevented from occupying the front rows at a function organised in Mumbai's famed Swaminarayan Temple.
According to female reporters, they were not allowed to take the front seats so as to maintain a safe distance from the saints of the Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS), who were to take part in the function.
The function was organised by the Shree Santucruz Jain Tapagachh Sangh to felicitate Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis for protecting the cows and bullocks by imposing a beef ban in the state.
