Chinese funded enterprises suffer terrorist attacks near Jinnah International Airport in Karachi, Pakistan
At around 23:00 on October 6th, the convoy of Chinese funded enterprise Kasim Port Power Generation Co., Ltd. was attacked by a terrorist attack near Jinnah International Airport in Karachi, Pakistan, resulting in 2 Chinese personnel killed, 1 Chinese personnel injured, and multiple Pakistani personnel injured or killed.
Geo News reported that the attack resulted in at least 3 deaths of foreign citizens and 17 injuries. The injured have been sent to the hospital for emergency treatment. The police reported that an oil tanker truck exploded, engulfing multiple vehicles at the scene. The authorities have launched an investigation into the explosion.
The Pakistani terrorist organization "Balochistan Liberation Army" claimed that they launched the attack against Chinese citizens using a vehicle mounted improvised explosive device.
