.......นักวิทยาศาสตร์ใหญ่ท่านหนึ่ง แกเลี้ยงแมวไว้สองตัว ทุกวันที่แกนั่งขลุกอยู่ในห้องทดลอง แมวสองตัวนั้นก็จะร้องเมี้ยวๆขอเข้ามาในห้อง แกก็ต้องลุกมาเปิดประตูให้มันเข้าไป ขณะกำลังมีสมาธิในการทดลองอยู่ แมวก็ร้องเมี้ยวขอออกไปข้างนอก แกก็ต้องลุกมาเปิดประตูให้แมวออก ทำให้เสียสมาธิ เสียเวลามาก วันหนึ่งแกจึงลงทุนเจาะฝาห้องเป็นช่องโหว่เลยเพื่อให้แมวสองตัวเข้า-ออก ช่องใหญ่สำหรับแมวตัวใหญ่ ช่องเล็กสำหรับแมวตัวเล็ก จากวันนั้นมาแกก็ไม่ต้องรำคาญผุดลุกผุดนั่งมาเปิดประตูให้แมวเข้า-ออกอีกเลย แต่แกก็มิได้สังเกตว่าแมวตัวไหนเข้า-ออกอย่างไร คิดเอาว่าตัวเล็กก็คงออกช่องเล็ก ตัวใหญ่ก็ออกช่องใหญ่
