THE BEAUTY OF LIVING
Life is full of ups and downs, joy and sorrow. The
former lifting your spirit but the latter breaking you. But
we’ve got the joy of the lord. Life is full of people with
distinctive characters, some sweet others sour. The
former being pleasant, the latter being bad as it
sounds. But the composition of both makes up the life
we live in now.
Relationships in life are so important that we cannot
avoid them. Even though sometimes we feel like
avoiding people is the best solution to a conflict, we
keep meeting more people as we go up. No man is an
island. So in order to keep relationships, we must learn
proper management, since almost everything in life is
based on relationship. Relationship with God, fellow
human, spouses, siblings, co- workers etc.
Offense is one thing we often almost always encounter
in our day to day life. Offenses are so powerful; they
can change the whole atmosphere of a place. To the
offender please learn to guard your oars; to the
offended, please learn to give room for offenses so
that when it comes it does not compete with the room
you already have for peace and joy.
Friendship is one thing that keeps us happy. Being a
loner is an unpalatable experience. It’s good to know
that someone has got your back. To those who have a
company of great friends thank God for them but give
room for offenses, so that you don’t fall flat when the
one who you think is watching your back goes on a
break. To the loner; pray for companionship. If you
don’t find one, don’t be discouraged life is not all about
having friends. You can find a friend in yourself and
that can bring about creativity. There’s more to life.
Family, the ones you grew up with, your blood. Family,
the ones you met along the way and the bonds grew so
strong. If you have a family, learn to be grateful and
cherish them. If you don’t have one, just know there’s
a place in the bible where it is stated that God sets the
desolate in families, so do not despair. Families are
people who will always be in our lives, even if they
don’t seem to be visible. Try hard not to break the
cords. It’s so hard that once broken it leaves everyone
hurt, even if you don’t admit it.
Love: that phase of life when the heart beats
consistently as if it would explode when we see that
one that our heart approves. It’s that time when we
don’t go to bed, until we’ve heard the voice of that one
whom our heart cherishes. Love is a beautiful feeling,
its pure and delightful. It never breaks, never hurts.
Love is patient, kind and causes no hurt. If your love
hurts, please go back to redefine love.
God; the giver of life. God who is tender and terrible at
the same time. God who created everything. The
peace and comfort that accompanies knowing he’s
there is second to none. My peace comes from
knowing I have you; comfort that soothes my heart. In
the midst of the chaos or peace, famine or plenty, he’s
ever present, sending his love to us in ways we might
never have admitted. The rain that cools the heat on a
sunny day, the nature that makes our world beautiful,
even the air we breathe that makes living possible. The
true God is real; the true God is love.
