If you are missing writing your diary posts each day why not check out The Shopping Game instead.

All you have to do is write a post giving details of your shopping each day and you will be in with a chance of having your shopping paid for!

We are delighted that almost 70 people have already joined The Shopping Game but quite a few of the posts are not following the rules of the game and so don't get a chance to win.

The Shopping Game - The Rules of Engagement

The original post about the game gives the full information...

We have modified (and increased) the prizes since the first post.

Originally we were going to give out just one prize up to a value of $50 each day, but as the average daily shopping value for many people is often $10 or less, we decided to give multiple prizes every day up to a cumulative value of now $60.

So far 27 people have won prize upvotes to cover the cost of their shopping. Out of the almost 70 people playing the game that is a better than one in three chance of winning. Definitely odds worth playing for!

Those players that follow the rules and guidelines for the game have a much, much higher chance of getting a winning upvote so here they are again...

  • The title of the post must include "THE SHOPPING GAME : Date (day/month/year) : any other title you want to add".

  • The post must include #theshoppinggame as one of the first five tags.

  • The post must include the names of the shops or markets where the shopping was done, including their location (town, city, country).

  • Photos of the shops or markets where the shopping was done help a lot.

  • The posts must include details of each item bought including product, brand, size or quantity and price. Photos will be even better.

  • We know smaller shops and markets may not give receipts, so they are not required to enter the game. But if you can get receipts please include them in the post.

  • At the end of the post include a summary showing the total cost of all the shopping in your local currency along with a conversion to STEEM or US dollars.

  • Posts can be in any language.

  • Any photos used must be your own or from copyright free sources.

  • The Shopping Game does not cover online shopping.

There have already been many great entries but two particularly good examples came from @randulakoralage in Sri Lanka and @sapwood in India...

We particularly liked @randulakoralage's use of excerpts from Google Maps to locate the shops.

The Shopping Game runs until July 31st so we hope you will take the opportunity to join in with this until Season 2 of The Diary Game begins on August 1st.

The Lucky 10s commenting game has now been extended to cover comments on Shopping Game posts as well so do get commenting.

Everyone can be a winner on Steem!

Thank you,

The Steemit Team

Gracias...

The rewards from this post go to support the work of @fundacorazon in Venezuela and @thegreens in Cameroon.

Yea @stefano.massari i am indeed motivated , i have had so much knowlegde on many things recently through the engagements and tutorials i receives here,

Indeed , i am so pleased to be a steemian;

Thanks for your comment , it really motivated me too.

so let's go make Steemit great again

Yea sure @stefano.massari we will make it great indeed

You know what - I don't dig the Google maps thing. That gets too close to location and travel tracking for government skunkworks. I would be ok with taking a picture of a shop, and give individual pictures and prices for regional reference. But, I am not comfortable promoting multinational corporations, even if inadvertently.

The only thing I shop for is crypto!

@randulakoralage congratulations to your fellow steemit who has been chosen as the winner, continue to work for those who have not done so, the success you have achieved has encouraged other fellow steemites.

Thank you.. For sure I will do

Appreciated @steemitblog and @steemcurator01 team to take into account this post that has expired and did not receive support in #thediarygame
