I agree. I am manually curating my two Communities Banking and Finance, and Flower Pictures to reward and retain members, along with recruiting members from Communities which left Steem.

Yes, I agree, you make a very important point, in the past people joined, but got lost in the vast ocean of Steemit. I manually curate my Communities, so all recruits are rewarded and know their posts are noticed. !
