RE: Digital Marketing Workshop In Dubai Today!

Hey @nuridin,
I noticed from the photos that the women and men are seated at separate tables, is that a cultural requirement or was that because of different job classifications?
Just curious as I know very little about the culture there.

Hi @sultnpapper ... Yes, because of the culture in the UAE, ladies and men usually sit on separate tables inside the same classroom. But if it's a theater style seating, they can sit next to each other.

I pretty much though that to be the case, I was surprised though about the theater style seating though, doesn't make much sense to me then on why there would be a difference when it comes to tables.

The difference is round tables are considered to be a closer form of seating with a number of people making a group. The theater style is more a public and open way of seating, where all the audience are facing one way (the speaking stage) versus facing each other.

Got it now, thanks.
