The Diary Game: DAY 6 & 7 | 6th and 7th of August 2020: End of Weekday and the Start of the Weekend

Today, is Thursday, the last working day of the week and I am ready for the weekend! This morning, the Sales Director of our company in the Region, treated us Pizzas! It was like raining Pizzas in the office. But, I on the other hand, was not able to eat due to my diet restriction. I am not allowed to eat any dairy products and since Pizza has plenty of cheese on it, then, I am only into watching my colleagues happily eating the treat! Though I am not allowed to eat, I still went to the pizza area to talk to my colleagues even just for a few minutes. We’ll everyone are excited for the weekend (Yes! Not only me) not only that, this week at work ended so well.

At lunch time, I was able to spend my lunch break together with my beautiful friends and colleagues @pingcess and Kristine. For an hour, truly a short time, but I was able to spend and talk everything with them. It’s just so nice to talk with them as it has been so long since the last time we sat and ate together, all thanks to COVID. We ate and talk recent things that happened in our life and it was a good catch up. We got carried away with our talk when we realized that it’s time to come back to work. Sadly, we stood up and went back to office. I’m hoping we’ll be able to spend time again soon.

The day has ended and I’m glad that it has been a productive week. It was super busy and a bit emotional for me, but I thank God for the week and things that happened that mold me into a better person. There is always a lesson in every experience.

It’s Friday and the start or our weekend! Yes! I know you find it weird as the weekend in your country starts on Saturday but for me, our weekend starts on Friday and ends on Saturday. Then our office will resume on Sunday to Thursday. Quite confusing ya? Well, that’s how it works in a Muslim Country. 😊

Today, nothing extraordinary happened and the beauty of weekend that always makes me happy is to wake up late. 😊 I remembered when I was a child, I hate sleeping and just want to grow up so fast so that no one can force me to sleep. And now that I am an adult, I wish I am a child that can have all the luxuries to sleep and have nothing to worry. <

At lunch time, as our cook is off today, I decided to in a Filipino Restaurant named “Pinoy Lomi House” as I am starving. So I ordered a Beef Bulalo Mami, it is like a beef stew with noodles and vegetables. Even if it’s burning hot outside due to summer, I opted to order this food as I was really starving.

The taste didn’t disappoint me. It was absolutely tasty, and I love how the heat of the soup travelled down to my throat and stomach. It is served in a big portion too so the value of your money is well compensated. I partnered it with a crispy fried chicken skin and what I can say? It is a divine meal.

I spent the rest of the day studying a lesson for my incoming test this month. I really hope that I will be able to pass the test. Please pray for me.
