THE DIARY GAME: 22, September 2020 - DAY OF THE AUTUMN EQUINOX
Hello steemians out here. Good vibes and blessings to all of you!
Today is a holiday for celebrating the day that will indicate the change of season from summer to autumn. As I mentioned in my other blogs, the leaves began changing colors from green to light green and in this season in all its orange and red colors.
Autumn equinox day is the second day-and-night equilibrium of the year wherein the balance between day and night becomes equal. Here in Japan this is called as “Shubun no Hi.” (google)
Even though it’s the holiday I still need to go to work today. For today’s diary blog share here are my activities:
For my daily breakfast as usual pan and coffee combo. The usual daily chores washing our clothes, cleaning the house by using floor sheet wiper, checking the vegetables outside and watering them then cooking our lunch and making obento for my work dinner.
This is “ Nilaga” or pork soup, one of the dishes we regularly consume in the Philippines. I cooked this last night and now my lunch today. The soup is so good that eating it best with white rice is perfect. The ingredients are pork ribs, potatoes, cabbage, onion, ginger, salt and black pepper, fish sauce or nampra for the taste. It’s very easy to cook this dish, just boil first the ribs until becomes tender then put the onion, ginger, potatoes and cabbage wait until it’s done then the seasonings to taste. That’s it. Served and have a nice meal. You can add corn to make soup more creamy to the taste but that is optional.
After preparing my obento and myself, I proceeded to finish all the works at home before going to work. While at work, one of the senior offered me this lovely gold color computer. The last stock available and with a very nice cpu intel capacity and speed. The offer was good but I am really in a strict budget condition.
I’m still thinking of this offer together with the other maker of good quality products. Actually we have already a computer at house but my son is the one always using it and I thought for a while to buy my own since I’ve started making blogs here on steemit, appics and hive. I really need my own personal computer except the iPad I’m using now.
I love the color of this computer. Windows 10, intel i7, ssd and 8GB capacity.
A lot of customers visited the store since it’s holiday and I have become busy assisting them. It’s been a tiring day and I finished the work by vacuuming the floors and throwing the garbage.
After working these are the foods that I bought in the supermarket for our stock foods. I used to buy late at night goods because the prices are much lower than the regular hours of selling. You can save a few bucks for late hours of shopping. One tip that I want to recommend to people who wants to make a savings and coping with their monthly budget.
The obento meal of Sweet and Sour Pork included in my shopping list. We ate this as our dinner.
“Hijiki”or edible brown algae is one food that I love to eat not because of the taste but because of the nutrients it can give to our bodies. This food contains iron good for anemic person like me.
The skewed barbecue I usually buy at the supermarket I’ve been tonight. The taste was really good and delicious.
After eating, washing the dishes and toothbrushing my teeth I prepared myself to sleep since I was really exhausted after a hard day work.
