The Oh Most High Most Holy Cloud upon the Mountain - Poetry

Thank you for coming
Alighting here upon the mountains
Rained last night and all day
At the set of the sun
You turned it to snow
And blanketed all I can see

You spoke to me and said
Get up from your bed
Go out and plant your trees
Though the was falling, wind alee
17327227272957686636185700442974.jpg
I broke the ice on the spring fed pool
That trees would live
Made me feel like a fool
17327227717324384273169017871058.jpg
Yet as I looked at each
I saw new leaves of green

I stuck the broken branches of the elm
Into pots of dirt, and did beseech
From their pots did wean
From the effort of calming the 'cane
I used a hoe and rake to lift from the water
My left side still hurts
I fell in, broke the ice, became an otter
Nearly cracked the brow of helm

I pulled out the pots by their skirts
And left to dry for some task arcane
I lifted the panels, even in the rain
Forgot I left them, the sun came up

My new TV tuner arrived after $40 bucks
The Vankyo projector was one-oh-five
We watched the big screen
While sipping
17327242609633172568300995168460.jpg
Coffee from a cup
Oh it's good to be alive
With God's grace and luck
We will continue to survive
We watched, # __ Escape from Gilligan's Isle __
Then before bed, # __ A Man in the Wilderness __
This is how nerds do it country-style
Then was the night kiss of tenderness
We'll be moving the furniture
Rearranging the room
And up to my computer
I will hook this thing to
And not wear thick glasses
No writing mistakes
This is a monitor for men
From the phone I'll escape
I've studied magic, acts of faith
The para and supernormal
And what can take place
And how to save the asses
Of the whole human race
One can do what one can
That's all one can do
Isn't life grand
Let's end the undo
'You really move me'
The girls saintly sang
Well actually they're women
With haloes and wings
Armor and prayers
And help bring the rain
Heal, advise, straighten the crook
And love is their thing
John Huston, Richard Harris
Dumbledore, eaten by a bear
Oh what true story
Watched on the big screen in H'yar
Thanksgiving's tomorrow
A wonderful, special day
This woman said on the news
"We Must Colonial From Turkey Day"
We'll tear down the statues
We start this a new
We'll make Caesar God and Pharaoh too
The past is all evil, there's nothing in the blue
They're upset about being "Indians"
When India is so far away
And from India a motion came
We are the Bharrats
This is Bharrat let's use our own name
The Germans are Deutsch
From Deutschland not Germany they remain
Or from Alemania if you're of Spain
We're not Americans, but Estados Unido'ers
And this once was Atlantis
Look at the Pyramids
History is good and that's how learn
Yet those in "Power" change it and burn
Until no one knows
When happened way back when
No wonder the Pope says,
"Let's not do this all over, again!"
There is a beginning for every end
Up to the Welcome Center
On my good knee, before them I'll bend
Amen.
