THE DIARY GAME 22/08/2020 SATURDAY, AUGUST (LOTUS POND)

India is beautiful if you have an eye to explore. We tolerate the hot heat during summer, we love continuous rain during the rainy season and we love to see fluffy clouds during spring and autumn.

We have swamp forest, sandy sea beach. I have been almost all the places in India except quiet a few. Somehow I migrated myself here that's why I was not able to visit them.

MORNING TIME
Today i woke up in the morning by alarm ring and get freshed up. Today my friends decided to go nearby lotus pond which is looks so nice, during our morning walk we go to the lotus pond and i clicked some pictures of it.

Today I am going to share a lotus pond which I have captured today's morning. Well, because of this lock-down life I was able to visit some nearby natural beauties.

This village has rivers, and ponds. During the rainy season, all dry low lands become marshy land and become habitats of fishes and water lilies. If you visit during the rainy season, you will see enormous water lily ponds.

But lotus ponds, basins are really rare because they are not available in all the places. I was lucky enough to explore this beautiful pink lotus pond. It was just an amazing experience.

This marshy water body of the lotus is situated in a very rural area and you can only see that but can't go there by boat. Village people take care of it and many people from other villages come here to see it.

During blooming/flowering season, the whole pond becomes full with lotus and there are some small white lilies as well. I have heard that the villagers of this village sometimes pick up the roots, seeds, stems, and sell them into the local market.

CLOSE UP VIEW

I have seen a white lotus which is the very rare and pink lotus pond I have seen twice. Basically, the lotus is very rare in India comparing to water lilies. Obviously, you have an idea about the beauty of the lotus flower.

To be honest, I had to struggle a lot while editing these pictures because, in my opinion, green color is hard to handle. But I am happy that finally, I managed to write this post.

The name of this lotus is "Sacred lotus".

Lotus is a symbol of purity and it has religious significance as well. I can understand why lotus is considered a symbol of purity.

AFTERNOON TIME
After returning form pond i take shower and then take rest. At 1 PM lunch was ready and we take it and then go to Market to buy some fruits.
After returning from market i take a nap and then watch some Netflix series.

NIGHT TIME
At 9 PM I'm doing some college assignments work and after some time mom called us for dinner we take dinner, during dinner time we watched some movie on tv and then go for a walk, after returning from walk i go to my bedroom and finished my assignment work, and then go to sleep.
