The Mesopotamians System Status, Week 23steemCreated with Sketch.

This is a weekly update of the status of @themesopotamians system.

Some substantial changes here. User posting has diminished substantially over the last two months, and with the latest price drops has now gotten to the point where we no longer need two active accounts at level one. This matches up well on the timeline with @particleman's leased delegation expiring later this week.

All level one accounts have been moved to @doctorworm. @particleman is currently voting the entire system 100% in order to reduce its voting power before the delegation is removed. (A Hardfork 20 bug that is still unfixed benefits accounts which vote all the way down before losing delegation.)

I also reset a bunch of my own delegation in order to get some of that SP back for a different project.

The Mesopotamians is a project to use ongoing support and gamification to encourage account growth and build a class of community-minded minnows and eventually dolphins. This project is run by @tcpolymath.

The Mesopotamians uses a six-level system of automated votes to encourage specific users to invest in their accounts and make community contributions. As a user progresses up the levels the value of vote they receive increases. Before advancing to each new level a user will be asked to envision, develop, and implement a new project with community benefit.

The Mesopotamians is an outgoing support initiative, not a vote-trading scheme. Support from our members is appreciated but not in any way required.

Users are chosen for the program by @tcpolymath in a completely-unfair and usually-opaque selection process based on what he thinks is important for the community and who he thinks would be a good dolphin someday. He's giving his own money away here so he's ok with that, but it's best to be upfront about it.

It's a shame there is such a drop off in posting. Do you think it's down to the low Steem price or has it been this way since HF20? I know I'm not the most consistant poster myself, but that's nothing new for me.

In a lot of cases since before HF20 even. There seem to be a lot of different reasons for not posting, but the price drops naturally don't help.

Unrelated and there might be a price pump before or after the G20 meeting or any positive tariff news but puts would just be at a discount bro!
