i think it is because he doesn't wear a tie, and once the absurd news stations make a big deal about that, he has a talking point for every debate. Unfortunately, the system is rigged and that guy who doesn't even know where he is half the time is going to be the (D) rep in the next election whether his party's supporters actually want it or not.
