It is incredible that ThreeZero had re-created every bit of details on this robot from the video game into reality. You will be amaze all those details of mechanism that you won't normally notice in the game.

There are lots of articulations on the figure. The pistons are all movable, especially the waist area with 5 pistons that control the waist movement. But the top is quite heavy, which makes the upper body a little wobbly.

The arms and legs joints are mostly ratchets. The ratchets on the legs are tighter and stronger. But the angle from ratchets to ratchets are pretty wide, which limited the control of the leg's posability. However, the flexibility of the toe joints can offset some of these limitation.

The arms are in softer ratchets. They are more posable. The figure comes with the XO-16 Chaingun, which is it's only weapon. The arm's joints can support its weight, but the articulated fingers are the killer of this weapon. It will take some time to fiddle the fingers around in order for it to hold the Chaingun properly.

The ammo drum can be detached from the Chaingun. It is easier to hold the Chaingun without the ammo drum!

A 1/12 pilot figure comes along with the set. It is about 6" tall with real clothing and removable armor parts. The workmanship of the pilot is as good as the 1/6 scale figure. Despite the real clothing, the figure is still super posable. It can pull out about any poses without ease. The figure included the R-101C Carbine. The worn out paint job on such small figure and weapon are just amazing.

There are plenty of areas on Altas that can allow the pilot to stand on. Therefore, both figures can interact with each other.

Here are some of the size comparison on Atlas / XO-16 Chaingun vs. the pilot figure.

Atlas also features the interchangeable red and blue (MCOR & IMC) lighting for the dome and cockpit. The front optic sphere is rotatable. Both the dome and cockpit hatch can be open and the pilot can fit inside the cockpit perfectly. It is also a big plus that the lighting features are using two AAA batteries, not those rare expensive type. (If someone is a big fan of ThreeA / ThreeZero toys, you will know what I mean ...)

With all the details, engineering, gimmicks, and workmanship, this figure is really worth every penny of it! It is highly recommended not only to the game fans, but also robot lovers!!
