Tiger counting started in the Sundarbans .........
Forest Department is starting the tiger again on Tuesday in the Sundarbans today. It will be counted by taking pictures of the camera and multiplying the tiger footprints. Wild Team will help them in this work. The results of the calculation will be released at the beginning of next year.
Under the name of 'camera trap', images of moving tigers will be captured in front of the cameras placed in different places. Besides, the number of tigers that can be used to drink water, will be calculated in the number of footprints. Today the work of counting will start officially from the Nilkamal forests of the Sundarbans. 60 employees of Forest Department and Wild Team are participating in this work. In 2010, the number of tigers was 400 to 450, according to the survey of the tigers on the Sundarbans canal.
