#7 How To Learn Russian - Following Rasputin with Noun Cases
Dear Steemians. This is the seventh in a series I'm posting to support Golos and expand the Steemit system. I'm a Russophile and I'm tremendously excited about the changes Russia is experiencing.
I hope you enjoy it:
If you're even slightly interested in Russia you've probably heard something about this man.
His life and death were mysterious and difficult to understand.
As a happy coincidence, for English speakers, Russian noun cases are also mysterious and difficult to understand.
Here is a short and simple narrative about Rasputin's life. If you follow it closely you should be able to see that nouns have different forms in Russian. Don't worry about the specifics yet. It is enough at this stage just to notice them.

Wanted to write a bit on rasputin, i still might although my daily posts are failing :|
It's all cyrillic to me. I'd have to start with sounds before whole words.
I used a photo of Rasputin for a Halloween poem, an Ode To Comte de Lautréamont, and his character Maldoror. it was inspired by the poisoning of Rasputin. This, even though he suffered many other assaults than simply poison.

Thanks for the link. Yep it's a great pic. Here's where I deal with Cyrillic if you want to give Russian a shot https://steemit.com/til/@nikflossus/01-how-to-learn-russian-a-mutual-guide-for-the-intelligent-and-determined-student
Thanks for the link. I'll check it out. Though, the last language I learned was Latin, lo, these many years ago. Russian looks easier than Chinese. I hope Russia continues to do well. I'm for any country that rejects communism.
Yep, they've certainly been inoculated in that respect.
I hope it doesn't take a gulag archipelago scenario to wake up the US of A, though, it appears that is where we've been headed for a while.
Well the FEMA camps are in place... however Trump I believe has other ideas. Your bacon has been saved!
That could be interesting for @arcange :-)
Thanks for sharing this interesting post, Nik! Great pics as well.
Upvoted & Followed you as well.
