Effective Time Management - Part 1

The objective is to understand the importance of managing time for personal effectiveness. To recognize and learn how to align time-based activities to personal life. At the same time, to balance between life and work. In addition, to make the right decision between importance and urgency then prioritize it. Apply the concept of Pareto Principles and 80/20 Thinking in time management. Lastly, is to learn the scheduling techniques and apply in real life. In this world, "TIME is MONEY".

Definition Of Time
What Is Time?
Based on Sir Isaac Newton, "Time is absolute. Time and space form a container for events."
Meanwhile according to Albert Einstein, "Time is an illusion. Simultaneous events is the substance of time."
Encyclopedia describe it as a "Time is a non-spatial linear continuum wherein events occur in an apparently irreversible order".
In a nutshell, time is a series or sequence of events. The key to managing time is equivalent to the event control.
Uniqueness Of Time
At the moment, time cannot be stalled, stored, bought or borrowed. We all have ALL THE TIME that is no more or less. We cannot save time but we can spend or invest it. In economics, time is a precious resource and it cannot be replaced or extended. Putting in more hours is not the answer. The longer you work the less you will accomplish. It is more likely to undo everything you have done. The answer lies in the efficient and effective use of one's 1440 minutes in each day.
Haha! I do wish have that skill like Dr.Strange. 😆
haha yeap 😂
thanks for this, I'm a mess at managing my time, I hope you elaborate more on the subject in the future

Oh hoh, what a tease! :P
Reminds me of a pottery experiment. Two groups are asked to make pots within the given time. The first was asked to make the best pots they can (quality), and the second to make as many pots as they can (quantity). In the end, the 2nd group was the one that made the best pots, because they got the practice in, and the 1st group spent more time speculating than acting.
So I'm reminded by your post that it is better not to spend too much time on fewer things, coz (as you put it) "the longer you work, the less you will accomplish."
Your first post feels quite philosophical. :)
Looking forward to your follow-up posts! :D
Well, I do not know how to make a pot. I do understand the ideas. The reason why the 2nd group able to make the best pots is that none of them know the best quality of it. If the 1st group know the whole process and formula of a perfection pot, his one pot is much better than the 2nd group who made based on quantity. Which is why nowadays more AI machine will be replacing manufacturing workers. The time taken by AI machine is much faster and less error comparing to human workers.
There is a graph to explain it for the quote you mentioned. Will be added into the next post of Effective Time Management.
Stay tuned! 😆

if seen from the definition, meaning I have been running the time as understood by einstein, whatever in this world I consider it as an illusion that sometimes comes true when I do not need it, at other times, many things that I do not want to happen just come true and forcing me to accept it. very interesting for this first stage @legendchew, I will follow the next part. the uniqueness of time I like so much because just like you who have the uniqueness in helping me to rise up and learn in this crazy platform.
Managing effective time between Discord, Steemit, work, and life is a very important aspect of work-life balance. We should not be consumed by it and at the same time, we enjoy the time we spend there. We have you to take care of the SteemitBC/SteemCommunity Discord. Good job and keep it up. 😆
