Time Travel: You Can See The Future in the Past

in #timetravel7 years ago

Back in the late 80's early 90's I was a young boy and ever since the first time I saw Back to the Future I fell in love with time travel movies. I watched the Back to the Future series over and over again. I even would watch The Back to the Future cartoon series that was short lived. As I got older I found other time travel movies that I found really interesting; The Butterfly Effect, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, Looper, Groundhog's Day, Hot Tub Time Machine, Terminator 2, Midnight in Paris, Project Almanac and the list goes on. I don't know why, but time travel movies are my absolute favorite type of movies. Maybe it's because all of us would like to either change something in our past or visit a time period we've never seen before.

In a past life.

The 1950's seem to be America's favorite time period. People back then held values and didn't stray away from them. The money had value and people took care of each other. Healthcare and education were inexpensive and people lived comfortably. Over the last 50-60 years our values have been diminished by the big media conglomerates. All through the 1990's we learned it's okay to not have values with the slogan, "Hey, It's the 90's!". This wording prepared the world for a reality where people don't disagree with each other's beliefs, the economy is in the dumps, and no one can make sense of anything. In the past we were separated but for the most part, but showed respect. Today, no one holds back the way they're feeling. The public needs to understand that people can be different, hold opposite beliefs, but that shouldn't affect your life and your beliefs. That was the beauty of this country, everyone can be individualistic and at the same time have their rights protected.

Where to go?

If I were to go back in time, I would send myself to the founding of the United States. This time period is the most interesting to me because after doing a lot of research, I find the founding fathers extremely interesting. I do believe that the creation of The United States was planned by people who don't have our best interest in mind. Now, that doesn't mean that all the founding fathers are bad people but they were used as pawns. The elite group manipulating this world do things in reverse. So instead of revolting against a Monarchy to build a Monarchy, they were able to build support within their opposition. Using liberty minded people they were able to convince them that the Revolutionary War was fought to end oppression and allow freedom.

History

Thomas Jefferson wrote a letter to George Washington describing the opposite. Jefferson stated that the politicians were being paid off by cheap inflated money to fall in line with the plan and that the rulers didn't like the original Constitution. They were only using The Constitution as a stepping stone to recreate the British Monarchy. Look where we are today, we are so far away from our original values. Our founders fought for our freedom and we just gave away without a fight. It may not look the exactly the same as the British Monarchy, but it definitely functions the same way. We have give presidents more power than they ever deserved. Presidents are writing laws and Congress is giving their obligations away without the citizens batting an eye.

Government Love

I feel as if our history has been changed through our government education. I feel as if going back to that time period I could get a better understanding of who the founders were and which ones were trust worthy. I know the system loves to present Thomas Jefferson as a crazy person who was an anarchist. I happen to believe Jefferson was one of the only ones who actually cared about the people. He was an extremely interesting character. Jefferson stated in a letter that he does not like reading books that are translated, he only reads books from the original language. He also was against slavery and did try to end it, but decided no one cared and focused on what he thought were more important issues. George Washington and Jefferson would trade strains of hemp. Jefferson believed that hemp would be the future of this country and would be what made us a successful nation.

Let me know in the comments what time period you would visit.
