Agung volcano is the highest point of the island of Bali, 3142 m., diameter caldera 400m. 

In 1963, Volcano erupted and took a large number of lives, brought a lot of destruction and famine. 

The eruption began on the day when the locals traditionally brought their gifts and bowed to the volcano.
