G20
G20- Group of 20 (industrialized and emerging countries)
It is a forum of 19 countries, but the European Union where they meet regularly since 1999, between heads of states (Gorbieno), central bank governors and finance ministers, is constituted by the most industrialized countries such as: Germany, Canada, United States, France, Italy, Japan and the United Kingdom as economic block.
The objectives of the G20 To maintain the international financial stability, and to deal with issues that are within the scope of action of other organizations of lower hierarchy. Promotes the coordination and implementation of development policies.
Its first summit was in Washintong held on November 15, 2008, it is considered one of the most important meetings of the G20
The G20 is supported by international organizations, including:
- Financial stability council
- The international organization of work
- The International Monetary Fund (IMF)
- The United Nations, the World Bank
- The World Trade Organization. These organizations are already present to attend the key G20 meetings
