After being shared online, the post went viral on social media platforms and gained over 600,000 views.
The endangered species of tortoise, unable to walk due to pain in its joints, was given a roller board to walk around. A video of a male African-inspired tortoise named Helmuth has shared details of the Zoom Orbenselt Gelsenkrichen Zoological Adventure World and Reptiles.
According to a Facebook post that has now gone viral on social media, the 100kg animal was placed on a roller board to ensure it could move freely. "Because of the weakness, he was often in a comfortable position and, above all, used a limited amount of his right front," the post said.
