Lingkok Kuwieng: Aceh Tourism that is similar to the Grand Canyon
PADANG TIJI, Indonesia - Want to take a vacation while enjoying the beauty of nature and the river bertebing like the Grand Canyon? In Indonesia, precisely in Aceh, there are rivers that resemble the Grand Canyon. His name is Lingkok Kuwieng.
Kuwieng Circle is in the interior of the forest Doubtful, 20 km or 1.5 hours from the center of Padang Tiji District, Pidie, Aceh. The place is often called the Grand Canyon of Aceh. Why not, the river wall there are neatly arranged rocks in the form of a large canyon.
The canyon was formed rather like an ancient site. The composition and contour of the stone at a glance like the results of carving human hands of ancient times. But make no mistake, the canyon is formed by itself.
The uniqueness of the Lingkok Kuwieng canyon is purely a natural phenomenon, caused by erosion by mountain water which always flows with changing volumes.
