Country of 40,000,000 tourists
The Kingdom of Morocco is an Arab country located in the far west of North Africa with its capital Rabat and the largest city of Casablanca, which is considered the economic capital. The most important cities are Salé, Fez, Marrakech, Meknes, Tangier, Agadir, Safi, Tetouan, Laayoune (city) and Al Hoceima.
Morocco overlooks the Mediterranean Sea to the north and the Atlantic Ocean to the west, with the Strait of Gibraltar to the east. It is bordered on the east by Algeria and the Congo by Mauritania. In the narrow sea strip between Morocco and Spain, three Spanish catacombs are Ceuta, Melilla and a pirate rock.
Morocco is a multi-national country with its national, demographic, linguistic and cultural components. Throughout its history, the country embraced many of the human elements coming from the East, such as the Phoenicians, East and Arab Jews, or the South, such as Sub-Saharan Africans or the North such as the Romans, Europeans. These human components all have an impact on the ethnic and social structure that has become a national pluralism. Religiously, however, Islam remains the official and most widespread religion in the state, with two Jewish and Christian minorities.
Morocco also has a number of World Heritage Sites, which are designated by UNESCO's World Heritage Committee for inclusion in the International Heritage Sites Program.
