Do you know Curitiba (Brazil) ?
Do you know Curitiba ?
Curitiba is the capital and largest city of the Brazilian state of Paraná. The city's population numbered approximately 1,879,355 people as of 2015, making it the eighth most populous city in the country, and the largest in Brazil's South Region.
Curitiba has a very simple and practical transportation system. Public transportation consists entirely of buses. A metro line is in construction. There are several different types of bus, each with a different function. With only one ticket, you can walk for the entire city, changing for other bus in the "terminals".
Different of Brazilian tropical temperature, Curitiba has less sun days than London. According to local news, was 116 days with sun light in Curitiba (or 32% in the year) in 2013, against 184 days in New York (USA), 142 in London (England), and 134 in Berlin (Germany). Some attractive places include:

Wire Opera House
Botanical Garden (my favorite)
Oi Panoramic Tower
Metropolitan Cathedral at Tiradentes plaza
Tanguá Park
and others...
