RE: European cities are turning against tourists as they're pushed to breaking point
I think a lot of the problem comes to lack of regulation. Many places that are popular with tourism, of course love the financial benefits, but managing it properly can reduce tensions. Doing actions like: Reducing cruise ships at ports, increasing price of flights, while reducing number of flights to the region, putting a moratorium on commercial building and raising attraction prices will help reduce the number of travelers and lines you have to stand in, all while keeping a good flow of capital. Interesting insights though!
