The Black Rose
Normally everyone knows roses only in red, although in some other colors, but not in black.
The black rose exists, in naturally form.
The black rose is a variety of rose, which only grows naturally in the southeast of Turkey, in the village Halfeti, lying in the province Sanliurfa.

This unique rose grows and blooms in black only in Halfeti, because there the special minerals in the earth and the microclimate permits it.
When you pick the rose, the black fades and the rose becomes red after a time, as you know it from other roses.
You can try to plant the seeds of this particular rose somewhere else, but it will bloom in red or in any other colour, like any other rose and not black.
The plant grows in its natural form 1 - 1.5 meters high. It blooms in spring and autumn.
It also smells more intense than other roses.
There are many legends and myths around this particular rose.
It is also attributed to certain mystical magical powers.
In ancient times, are said, have come out from around the world many people just to find this rose and to master their mystical magic powers.

A legend tells of a man who lost his beloved wife.
After he buried her, he reaped a rose-seed in the earth of her tomb, and when the first rose grew, it was said to have bloomed in black.
This was supposed to be the first black rose.
Nobody knows how true these all stories are but one thing is certain, this specific rose shine a peculiarity that gives her her beautiful charm.
