British Entrepreneurs Sold Luxury Flat For Bitcoin
Two British entrepreneurs announced a $ 327 million real estate development in Dubai last year. Tycoon Lingerie Michelle Mone and her billionaire partner Doug Barrowman announced last September a $ 327 million real estate development project in Dubai to offer apartments for sale in .

At the announcement of the project, Mone and Barrowman promised to offer 150 of the 1,300 apartments including ‘Aston’ for Bitcoin.
By February, 50 of those apartments have already been sold, the two entrepreneurs told Business Insider.

Construction has begun at the site, located in Dubai’s Science Park, and it is scheduled for completion in 2020.
Prices range from studio apartments for $130,000, currently about 15 bitcoins to two bedroom apartments priced at $380,000, or about 45 bitcoins.
On February 6, Business Insider reported on the initial coin offering (ICO) of Mone and Barrowman’s Equi, a venture capital investment platform based on Ethereum.
Mone and Barrowman discussed sales at their Dubai development during an interview to promote their latest project, Equi, a cryptocurrency-powered investment platform.
The pair initially pledged to sell a total of 15o apartments from the development in bitcoin, suggesting more batches will be released in future.
