BARBARIC TRADITIONS AND CUSTOMS!
In some part of Africa,there are some certain traditions nums culture and customs that are barbaric and should not be accepted.
Traditions that do not have regards,respect and honour for women. Traditions that subjects the women folks to slavery. Where women are seen not to reserve the write to speak,or perform some certain functions in the family.Where their dignity is brought down the drain.
How can a tradition or culture deprives and debar a wife or a woman that was customarily and statutorily married to her husband to gain and have access to her late husband's wealth and property simply because she was on able to bear children?
Why should a woman be subjected to morn her late Husband for fourteen days in a rats crokroach and moisquitoes infested room with her hair and pubic hairs shaved to the skin,putting on rags as clothing to compliment it?Made to drink the water used in bathing the corpse of her late husband and also to lie close and sleep with the corpse of her husband.
It saddeneds my heart to see how women are maltreated.I have seen a tradition that conditions a woman or wife to sleep and have sex with her husband's friend who visited. A total stranger. Upon refusal, she was was beaten,abused and asked to pack her belongings and leave her husband's house.What an abysmal precipes,barbaric and an uncivilized tradition.
A tradition were men or husbands are given the prerogative to bully and turn their wives into punching bags at any slightest provocation without a shame of face.Where a woman who is undergoing her monthly menstrual cycle,are looked upon as someone unclean their by giving the husband right to refuse her meals,needless talking about sleeping on the same bed.
A tradition that frowned at a wife or women who gives birth to female children.A woman was abandoned in the hospital by her husband for the singular reason, that she gave birth to a female child without no consideration, that she was not the one, that impregnated herself.
What a sad situation.a campaign and tradition of calumny.It has to stop,we are in a jet and civilised age.let's give the female folks a chance to leave and exercise their rights and freedom.We were both created equal to exist so equal rights should be exhibited.They should be honoured and respected and given all their necessary acolades,not to be looked unpon like some pieces of rag.
There so many things men can do,but women could do better.They need to be encouraged but not to maltreated and abused.Husbands,Men love and respect your wife and women, the same way and manner you do yourselves.
They have so many things to offer.They take good care of our children, and we at large. They leave home as we equally do,stressed themselves only to still come back home to still carrter for the well being of the home, while we sit and spread our legs shouting and commanding them to do this or that without giving them a helping hand.They still satisfy us in bed.Please let's learn to appreciate this women and stop subjecting them to an unholy act of conduct. Let's abolish those barbaric traditions and customs and embrace good this things.
