_{This is an update for the Traffic Koans contest I'm running the entire month of September. If you haven't made an entry, it's not too late to do so! :D}

With the lack of participation and comments of people clarifying if this is a contest, I wanted to simplify the mechanics along with the updated rules. I'm following the advice of the ever gracious @johleen for this (thank you again by the way!), so I'll get to the point. Just to clarify for everyone, Traffic Koans is a month-long contest with SBD to be won. If that sounds like something you're interested in, then read along.

1st Place - 20 SBD + 100% SBD earnings of the daily koan

2nd Place - 12 SBD + 100% SBD earnings of the daily koan

3rd Place - 8 SBD + 100% SBD earnings of the daily koan

Prizes have increased since announcement because the wonderful @dreemit has donated 8 SBD to the prize pool, and I've added 2 SBD to even it out. The SBD of the daily koan is variable and depends on its earnings. Initially, I just planned to give 50% of it, but now I've upped it to 100% of the SBD earning. To be clear, the prize pool will only go up from here. Every time someone donates, the prizes will be adjusted. So, if any whales read this and is interested in donating, I would gladly accept it :D

STEP ONE

Read and analyze the Koan for the day

(It always has something to do with traffic violations)

STEP TWO

Once you figure out what traffic violation is being discussed, think of a story that happened to you or someone you personally know that fits with the violation

STEP THREE

Comment that story OR write a post about it and link it in the comments section

FINALLY

The daily winner is determined by the number of votes the comment gets

(So, feel free to advertise it)

All daily winners will compete in the monthly finals where I decide the winners

Resteem and promote the daily koan you join in to increase the SBD earnings that you could stand to win. Don't be shy if you feel you got it wrong, take a chance to win big!
