On June 15, while strolling along the rail line at Ambassa in northern Tripura (under Dhalai region), Debbarma and Somati saw that colossal avalanches following overwhelming downpours had influenced around a kilometer of the rail track.

They promptly removed their shirts and waved them to stop the train. The driver got the sign and ceased the train in the nick of time.

"On the off chance that we had not recognized the flag and ceased the prepare, it could have met with a serious mishap," Sonu Kumar Mandal, the driver of the train, had said.
