Trip to Northern Areas - Part 2

in #travel7 years ago

Hello Guys,

Earlier i shared some pictures of my trip to Northern Areas, Today I will share some more.

Pakistan is very beautiful country specially northern Areas, It is so beautiful and there are so many places that you can not visit all of them in 10 to 15 days. In our last visit we friend did mistake and not stayed long enough on each places we visited. We rushed to visit as many places as we can but later we realized that we should have visited less places and should have spent more time on that places :). Never mind, my next visit I will not repeat this mistake :)

First picture is of Shangrilla, Skardu, this place is only accessible in summer season, all winter season it remain closed due to heavy snow. This is one of the beautiful place of Skardu. It is resort type place where you can stay with family but bit expensive. Usually before summer all booking closed well in advance. I am sharing pictures from top of this place which give clear picture of this place.

You can see in pictures that people are boating in this lake as well. There are some tracks for tracking as well :)

We people who lives in big cities with lots of pollution, this type of places are heaven for us, so much clean water, so much clean air. The people are also very friendly in those areas and gives so much respect to foreign and national travelers, with this I am signing off for this blog. Will share more some time later :)

Nice photos! That looks like a great area to explore. I bet you could find some interesting ruins in those mountains, if you had a lot of time to look!

Thank you for liking blog :) Yes, you are correct and many foreigners are also visiting these areas to explore :) actually there are so many people already living there so no chance of finding anything, only we can enjoy these places which are kept neat & clean by local people :)
