Lago Nordenskjöld - Torres del Paine National Park Chile
So you have seen my photos of Peyto Lake in Alberta, Canada right? Look at the color of the lake. It has competition all the way in South America in the Chilean Patagonia. It's also a lake fed by Glaciers! Tada!
The sediments and minerals floating on the water reflect back the blue spectrum of light to create this color you see now.

Looks very inviting to swim in that lake, but we would feel we were spoiling nature. Also, we might have a dip when it's a bit warmer. It looks like it was a cool day, was it?
Oh no, you definitely don't want to swim there! LOL. I got extremely sick from this trip. Cold, wet, and extreme wind :)
LOL thanks for the tip. Hopefully, we will remember your comment if and when we visit Lago Nordenskjöld in Chile. Strange, how it has a Scandinavian type name in a place so far away from Scandinavia (Sweden/Norway/Finland etc. - for those who don't know).
Yeah it's the settlers, they're from Scandinavia I believe.

I lived in Chile for 4 years! Just moved back last yeat to the states! But it's absolutely beautiful there! Seriously, breathtaking views!!
Especially the Patagonian region.
