Athabasca Falls in Alberta Canada

I shot this during a road trip in the Icefields Parkway in the Canadian Rockies. This scenic drive cuts through Banff and the Yoho National Parks in Alberta, Canada.

I stopped the lens all the way down to f/22 with a Polarizer adding another 2-stops to record the silky smooth water flow at 0.7 Seconds while still maintaining some splash structure like you would see in the naked eye.

Have you been to Alberta?

Unbelievable view!
Nice photography!

Great photo! I used to live in Calgary, Alberta and there are so many amazing and scenic locations near by. I love the mountain environment.

Wow really an awesome shot! Thanks for sharing your settings with us! I am learning photography as well and love to learn from you, Keep it coming;) Love, Niina

Never been to Alberta, but Ive been to Toronto.
This photo is a reminder to me of a large brook that was once near a home I lived, each morning if the sun was out, I would see the rainbow prisms from the water vapor.

BC is where it's at :) But you're so lucky to have lived near such beauty!
