Adventure

Life without adventure is really a routine and I detest that, I always like to innovate and try new things. I have many anecdotes of adventures that I have lived in the course of my life, I will tell you one of them.

Some years ago I had the opportunity to visit and learn about the Amazonas State in Venezuela, a state characterized by large jungle areas, abundant flora, fauna and an immense cultural diversity. I always had the desire to go to this place and be able to help the people there, but had not given the opportunity and although going to this place requires much care for the many dangers that exist, I dared to go and start to a great adventure.

The trip began with a 14h long trip by land until arriving at Puerto Ayacucho (the capital). Upon arrival, you can immediately see the majestic nature and the beautiful native people there. All the team that traveled, stayed in a place in the city to organize the donations and the respective departures of the different teams to other communities. My team came last and we had a 3 day trip through the impetuous Orinoco river, Vaya aventura !!

I do not deny that it was scary to be in the middle of so much power of nature and feel helpless, we spent the nights in communities on the river bank, without knowing anyone, with thundering rain and without light. There were times when I wanted to be in my house but I remembered the mission that we had to take to La Esmeralda, a place that is located in the heart of the Amazon in Venezuela.

Upon arrival we were welcomed by the people for whom we had the help and it was an emotional and beautiful moment, I could know the great potential that my country has in natural wealth and that very few know, also how much other ill-intentioned people have hurt, In the same way, the diversity of culture of my nation was something wonderful that many should know, food, music, dances and above all people.

A very dear Indian wanted to make me dress like them, which meant being naked only with a miniskirt composed of only the back ha ha ha, we all laughed and thank God he understood that it was not my culture.

Upon returning we lived the experience of traveling in a Hercules plane of the guard of Venezuela, where you could appreciate the immensity of the Amazon rainforest, which was beautiful but also very intimidating.

To all those who read me I invite you to get out of the routine and explore this beautiful world that God left us, but not only to go and know new places but to leave a positive mark on the people around us.
