Furring Strips and T/G Pine Ceiling...

in #travel2 months ago (edited)

WOO-HOO! Better late than never...

Into 5 years looking at the dumb pink insulation and I'm finally putting it where it belongs: BEHIND THE WHITE VARNISHED PINE!

I figured I'd keep the ceiling light and clean and pine is the cheapest--so be it...

I can say the furring strips ended up being super easy so my hesitation was not warranted.

More pieces will be added on the next sunny day.

I did get the first door cupboard installed but it will take my painting skills to make up for my marginal carpentry. But it does look good and gives me more storage space. Pics to come once I put the finish painting it.
