Travel for Life
Who is the creator of the idea that you can go on a holiday only twice a year. To me this is a social prison, I personally work in a theater and my schedule is pretty busy and stressful most of the time. But because I have stubborn and anarchic attitude, I still do whatever I want during this year I've traveled to 7 different cities in 3 countries, probably I didn't see the sea this year but I still had a lot of fun and crazy adventures...
So here are some tips from me
MONEY
I don't really take much money with me when I travel, If I need to go to the nearby big city like Berlin or Warsaw, I take only 130$ with me it's more than enough to me, I am not a big shopper I go to a place to create adventures and go little crazy not necessarily splash money around (even though there is nothing wrong if you do ;)).
If I would stay in a city more than 2-3 days I would take more money. If you don't want to stay in a hostel or spent money on hotels, Couchsurfing will be your best friend. You will sleep in pretty good place + you'll make a new friends.
TALK TO PEOPLE
Make as many friends as possible, more people you more exciting your time will get over there.
I certainly have made lots of friends, lovers and just bumped onto people along the way.
Also I'd recommend, research on the internet some event that will happen in the city you are going and just volunteer you'll have a lot of fun :)
So don't be shy, enjoy yourself....
GOT LOST, WELL...
If you got lost on the way or returning, or you lost your wallet, tickets etc. That's where the real fun starts, cause now you will really try get out of the place where you got lost. It personally happened to me, when I lost myself in some crazy neighborhood in the middle of the night or completely had to sleep outside cause of no other choice etc.
Most important don't go crazy, keep a clear mind, don't be scared and try to find ways to get out of the problem.
That's really when you gain travel experience, so when I get lost I love it by now...
