Ramu is an Upazila. This Upazila is under Cox's Bazar District in the Division of Chittagong (Bangladesh). Ramu is Attractive by artful oldest artistry based wood made Buddhist Bihar & archeological monument that will remember us the past history of it.
Ramu is about 15 km. from Cox's Bazar. Ramu is a typical Buddhist village. There are monasteries, Khyangs and pagodas containing images of Buddha in gold , bronze and other metal , Inlaid with precious stones. One of the most interesting temples stands on the bank of the Baghkhali river.

It contains not only interesting relics and Burmese handicrafts but also a large bronze statue of Buddha measuring on a six-foot high pedestal. The wood carving of this khyang is delicately intricate and refined.

A few far about 15 Km. Ramu's beauty really attracts to the tourists. Different community live in this area like- Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu & Rakliain and the relationship between them are very good. ![download.jpg]
