Road Trip in NZ! Day 11 Part 2

After the morning hike at Hooker Valley, we took a short drive down to Lake Tekapo. Lake Tekapo is a dark sky reserve, so the night sky will be spectacular.

We first stopped over the Mount John Observatory, which is at about 3000ft in altitude. They have a simple cafe there and having lunch with that panaromic view is just too awesome.

And the Shepherd needs his Collie to help in grazing the land.

The accommodation at Peppers Bluewater Resort is too comfy.
