Road Trip in NZ! Day 6
Day 6 started off cold and exciting. Cold as in weather cold. And it didn't really help if you are going water rafting! But the crew at Queenstown Water Rafting did a great job making us feel warm and comfortable.
In my opinion, its really more worth to go rafting in the Summer, Spring or the Autumn as you get to go through the Skippers Road and see how goddamn narrow the road is with a cliff right next to you. Furthermore, you get to start from upstream of the Shotover River. In winter, you need to get transported via helicopter which could be a little bit more expensive and you only get half the rafting because of the cold weather. They don't want you to get too cold.
The guide on our boat was called Adam. When we went to purchase our photos after the rafting, we realised that he was trying very hard. Thought I helped him out a bit on Steemit.
After the rafting was lunch, Adam did mention that while Fergburger was quite a hype in Queenstown, Devil Burger wasn't that bad and the queue wasn't insane. So why not try it out since its a short walk.
Shaky hands after rafting. You gotta work for your burger!!!!! but hey no queue!
Lake Wakatipu. I made her say it like ten times in a row. It became Lake Watitipu.
