Travel Pic of the Day #28: Water fun in Sanur

Water fun in Sanur

Sanur, Bali

Sanur is one of my long time favourite locations in Bali, its not one of the islands' highlights, but has a nice local vibe to it. I used to come there alot as little lad and would spend most of my days running around the beaches and reefs. I was therefore struck by nostaligia when seeing these local kids playing around in the surf. Bali truly is a magical Island, so diverse and energizing, I will try to add a couple more posts from some great places like Ubud.

Oh I travelled to Kuta and Ubud before. Went to Legian too. Loved the sunset, the villa I stayed in but unfortunately now the tourist parts are so commercialize it's pretty expensive. Nice photo btw

Thanks! Havent been to Legian yet, but have spend time in Kuta and Ubud, the latter is really great especially when its not too busy.

@azonneveld, swimming is always so refreshing, especially the warm waters of the tropics.

I lived in Indonesia for about 12 years. Each year I visited Bali and frequently stopped by at Sanur. I have some fond memories there as well - great time with my family and friends.

Very similar here, lived in Jakarta and would travel down to Bali on the days off, makes for some great holidays!
