In my spare time away from business, golf easily is my favorite hobby. I have played a lot of awesome courses across the country including TPC Scottsdale, Wolf Creek, Royal Troon, PGA Village (Port St. Lucie, FL), Beth Page Black, TPC River Highlands just to name some notable public courses that anyone can play. The Myrtle Beach golf is right up there with the best in the country and I greatly enjoyed the courses we picked.

Golf Digest recently ranked Caldeonia Golf & Fish Club in the top 100 courses you can play! On this list it made 86 out of 100, but has rose even higher across other significant golf publications.

"The late Mike Strantz’s first solo design, Caledonia has been on seven of the last eight iterations of the Golf Digest list and is a consensus top 100 public layout. The course is No. 29 on Golf Magazine’s list of the Top 100 You Can Play and Golf Channel travel guru Matt Ginella ranked it No. 14 on his list of the nation’s top 50 public courses." The course was absolutely stunning every hole could have been a post card. The entire staff were genuinely the best I have experienced from the clubhouse, to the starter, and especially the beverage cart out on the course!

Caledonia was easily my favorite and is a MUST PLAY if you are heading down to Myrtle Beach for a golf getaway!

TRUE BLUE GOLF CLUB

Golf.com ranked True Blue in their top 100 courses to play coming in at 77 on this high prestigious list!

True Blue is managed and owned by the same people over at Caledonia, but they created a very different layout and style on this vastly longer course. True Blue was more open, but the holes were longer and greens tight. They called it a players course because you can attack each hole with a wide variety of shots and strategies. The fairways and greens were pristine, and they had sand hazards EVERYWHERE that could really get you in trouble. These hazards were drivable with the carts as well as being able to ground your club and take practice swings. If you found yourself in these they were sometimes very difficult to manage so avoiding them was key!

Overall it was an outstanding golf course, not as great as Caledonia in my opinion but definitely a highly recommended!

TPC MYRTLE BEACH

TPC Myrtle Beach was another awesome course! Definitely not as stunning as the previous two, but a really fun layout and phenomenal green play. The course was the only one of the three we played that had some gorgeous homes right on the golf course.

TPC was right up there with the other two, but definitely comes in third place.
