I was staying in PUERTO PRINCESA, Palawan for few days. It takes me wonder to last. It's a dream come true to visit this amazing island. The place is quite expressive to all the travelers out there! It offers you the best holiday. And thank you HONDAY BAY for taking me out to the tropical beaches, where you can enjoy sunbathing, swimming, snorkeling, and picnic. Everything that you wanted to do on the beach is already there. This place is definitely beautiful beyond your expectations. It has an amazing view of the mountains and farther ocean.

What Honday Bay offer?

It will take you to many islands and offer you the best activities at an affordable price. It has six (6) islands of choice. I choose to go STARFISH, LULI, and COWRIE island. All island are popular.

STARFISH island - is a fascinating view of the mountain along the ocean. It has a long sandbar, white sand, crystal clear water, stunning mangrove trees, and snorkeling where you can feed the fishes. Just bring the bread before dipping into the sea to see different types and color of fishes.

LULI island- is a stunning beauty. A place to enjoy the day by grabbing alcoholic drinks at the cute bamboo bar, and grab some foods at the restaurant. I stayed here for hours to feel the sunshine, the drinks, and the sea breeze. It smells so good and like a paradise.

COWRIE island- is fun exciting experienced. A lot of pleasure activities to enjoy and perfect for gathering, teambuilding, corporate events and intimate wedding venue. It also gives you the best sunset view. Here are the lists of activities: Jetski, Massage, Kayaking & swimming, Banna boat, Bar & Resto, Snorkeling, and cabanas.

What to do in the City?

A traveler like me doesn't spend a lot of time staying in the City.
I just go for a walk, sightseeing, window shopping or grabbing foods and drinks somewhere on the sidewalk or in the restaurant. PUERTO PRINCESA is a small town and you will always find interesting things. I visited the brewhouse where you can find the home-made craft beers in town. They distributed all over the Philippines but not importing. I went to the Chinatown to buy a souvenir and some stuff. During the night time, I walked to the Baywalk for seafood since there's a lot of stole selling the fresh seafood. It was really good to see around from the day to night time and enjoying it, making good memories and treasure the travel experience.

Where to stay in Puerto Princesa?

There's a lot of hostels, lodging house, and hotel to stay in the City. You just go to central and you can find an affordable budget to stay. I was staying at the BEST WESTERN PLUS hotel that offers you a comfortable, clean, good breakfast buffet, amenities, and friendly environment. This place is along the road and very convenient. It also walking distance to the airport.

Where to eat for dinner?

A local recommendation, I dine in at KINABUCHS restaurant which is next to the hotel where I stayed. The foods are great taste and many people eating here. You can order exotic foods like crocodile sisig and Tamilok, which is from mangrove trees. I also went to the Japanese restaurant for buffet dinner since I was craving for sushi, sashimi, and grilled seafood (Php. 550). I got white wine for quite expensive (Php.700). Unfortunately, there are a lot of choices where to eat. Just go around and see what is best for your taste buds.

How to get there in Puerto Princesa?

I booked my ticket at the cebupacific airline and I got it for promo sale. (Php. 5,544 including terminal fee, tax, and other charges ) the flight is direct from Cebu to Puerto Princesa.
When I arrive at the airport I walk going to the hotel since it is just 700meters away. In fact, you can get tricycle and jeepney to take your destination. I ride a tricycle going to the Honday bay instead of renting a motorbike. (Php 150 pesos) an estimated hour to travel approximately one (1) hour. Price range for a boat is (Php 2,500.00) good for 5-6 persons. Every island you visit there's an entrance fee:

What is the best time to visit in Puerto Princesa?

It will depend on the weather. However, like the rest of the Philippines, Puerto Princesa enjoys a wet and dry season. For the best time to visit is during summer season like April - May, the rainy season will start in August - October. I visited the month of November, it's still a good weather very sunny. So, I enjoyed my holiday.
