The Championship Celebrations
During our trip to Barcelona in 2013, we had the greatest surprise of our lives. While we were sitting on a cafe, having shisha, we saw Barcelona winning a football match from the TV. Well, it didn't mean anything to us at first. Then, we left the cafe and decided to walk around the city. Just under the The Columbus Monument, we realized a crowd and asked someone what it was.
Apparently, winning the match meant an early championship and in half an hour there was going to be a celebration.
Even the team was going to join! Obviously we stayed. And shot so many colorful photos.
It was a great day and I enjoyed every minute of it. Even running after the team bus and shouting the names of the players like a crazy person (the excitement of the people gets to you).

This has happened to me before in Peru and it was a similar experience. Such passionate fans and celebration, I can definitely agree that you get caught up in the excitement!
