Sunshine Farm

Have a side for environment? Green aspects? Beautiful yellow scenery? Well, you've come at the right place to read my adventure here on Sunshine Farm.

Sunshine Farm is located at Maharlika Highway Lalig, Tiaong, Quezon Province, Philippines. So, if you are planning to visit my country philippines, you should add this on your travel list!

Sunshine Farm has a slogan that says "Nurturing different abilities." And from my opinion, i think what they are trying to say is that people with special disabilities are being nurtured or given help in this farm. I remembered when I proceed to the front desk or information booth entrance in the farm, the clerk or the cashier person that I'm talking with is a disabled one. She is sitting on a wheelchair and her hands is like stroke or something but still she was able to communicate with me and talk about how will I enter the farm and what are the things I can do in the farm. So you see, people who work in the Sunshine Farm are people who have disabilities but see they can still work. The farm gives employment to those kind of people wherein they can't work in fastfood restaurants or malls or gas stations because they will not be accepted because of their capabilities. But with Sunshine Farm they are warmly welcomed to be employees. They serve you with a warm and happy smiles.

For just 100 philippine pesos donation or 2 US Dollar worth, you get to see a paradise like this. You get to donate for the people who work their with disabilities. You get to help them and also you get relaxed by the beautiful sunflowers.

You can get a lot of photos here that is instagram worthy! You just have to be creative on those shoots plus it is also a great place to invite your friends, hangout for a while and escape the city as this farm is located in the province, you get to breathe clean and fresh air. Relaxing place and you get to have a new friends also with the farm's staff.

They also sell the sunflowers and other plants that you will see in this farm. For every plant you buy, is also a donation for the workers. When you experience this kind of scenery , you get to be kind on our environment, that mother earth needs us to plant more, be more reusable, be more aware that earth is a nice place to live if we will know how to take care of it.

See the people on my back? That's the receptionist, those who are in the wheelchair. They are the ones whose going to assist you when you arrived. Great job right? Now, I will tell you how to get here if you are in the philippines already and living here in metro manila.

If you are from the south metro manila, you just have to go to

1. Sen Gil Puyat Ave.
2. Go down at Buendia Station
3. You can take either JAC BUS LINER, JAM BUS LINER OR PHILTRANCO for as long as the bus has a signboard going to LUCENA.
4. When you are on the bus, talk to the conductor and say that you will get down at LALIG TIAONG QUEZON
5. When you are about to reach your destination, you will see the arc of PROVINCE OF QUEZON and you will pass by the VILLA ESCUDERO and CITYMALL
6. And there you go, SUNSHINE FARM!

If you are from the north metro manila, you can either go to

1. KAMUNING OR CUBAO.
2. JUST FIND JAM, JAC OR OTHER TERMINAL BUS THAT OFFERS LUCENA TRIPS
3. When you are on the bus, talk to the conductor and say that you will get down at LALIG TIAONG QUEZON
4. When you are about to reach your destination, you will see the arc of PROVINCE OF QUEZON and you will pass by the VILLA ESCUDERO and CITYMALL
5. And there you go, SUNSHINE FARM!
