Today I want to show you nature wonder called cherry blossom. Spotting these pretty pink flowers signals the start of spring. I really love it and have biggest desire to talk about it here maybe this way you will like it more and will know more useful information about sakura.
Let's find out more about it.

🍒 History 🍒

The delicate pink sakura, or cherry blossom, is associated primarily with the culture of its native Japan. These trees blossom throughout Japan every spring, but their beauty never gets old.
The plantings of cherry trees originated in 1912 as a gift of friendship to the People of the United States from the People of Japan. In Japan, the flowering cherry tree, or "Sakura," is an exalted flowering plant. The beauty of the cherry blossom is a potent symbol equated with the evanescence of human life and epitomizes the transformation of the Japanese culture through the ages.
Each year, the National Cherry Blossom Festival commemorates the 1912 gift of 3,000 cherry trees from Mayor Yukio Ozaki of Tokyo to the city of Washington, DC. The gift and annual celebration honor the lasting friendship between the United States and Japan and the continued close relationship between the two countries.

🍒 Folklore 🍒

Beyond the three main philosophies -Shintoism, Confucianism, and Buddhism- that have built the spiritual background of Japan, the Sakura trees, and the beautiful blossoms they create, have become the symbol of the sublime spirit in Japan.
Sakura makes you create poems, makes you sing love songs, makes you seductive, makes you go for the broke, makes you think about life and death the moment when you look up the blossoms.
The legend of Sakura has been passed into the generations this way and will never cease to appear that way.
