WARNING: The use of images that are not your own on which you claim the ownership will be flagged - HELPING TO STOP PLAGIARISM ON STEEMIT

Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great start to the new week! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below. Just make sure you are familiar with the new rules and conditions of this photo challenge:

AS THIS PHOTO CHALLENGE HAS BEEN INCREASINGLY POPULAR ON STEEMIT AND THE NUMBER OF SUBMISSIONS HAS BEEN CONSTANTLY GROWING, I CANNOT UVPOTE ALL OF THEM ANYMORE, UNFORTUNATELY. THEREFORE, STARTING NOW, ONLY THE BEST 15 ENTRIES OF THE DAY WILL BE UVPOTED. OUT OF THOSE 15 PHOTOS, HOWEVER, I WILL ALWAYS CHOOSE THE WINNER OF THE DAY WHO WILL BE REWARDED WITH A BIGGER UVPOTE. THE WINNING PHOTO WILL BE ALSO FEATURED AS THE COVER PHOTO FOR THE CHALLENGE POST THE NEXT DAY, TO GIVE THE WINNER SOME MORE EXPOSURE AND PUBLICITY. HOPEFULLY, THESE UPDATES WILL ALSO MOTIVATE ALL CONTRIBUTORS TO SUBMIT THEIR VERY BEST SHOTS.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @tmayd:

St Vitus Cathedral. I loved it so much I went four times in a little over a week, twice at nightfall when the spotlights are on but the sky is still light enough for some decent pictures with my digital point and shoot, twice early morning when it opens so I could have it all to myself (well, almost) before the tourist invasion.

In Prague there is a John Lennon wall. I've heard about it and decided to look for it when I was in Prague. Since the 1980s it has been filled with John Lennon-inspired graffiti. It was such a special wall and many youngsters like to hang out there.

Very nice entry! Hard to find you there:)......

lol Thanks. I should have worn something brighter hahha

Among the Gothic cathedrals that I have seen in Europe, the Czech cathedral of St. Vitus is one of the most impressive. St. Vitus Cathedral is considered to be a structure of the Middle Ages. But it is not so. For already in the 10th century on this place there was a small church of St. Vitus, the foundations of which have been partially preserved to this day. This church was decided to expand to the cathedral. And on November 21, 1344, the first stone of the future church was laid here.

Thank you for your wonderful post Jul. It will get featured as an entry post in tomorrow's challenge. Have a great day. Tomas

Žižkov Television Tower stands high above the city's traditional skyline. Tower was once voted the "2nd Ugliest Building” on Earth because of its wird design. I think it didn´t deserve it. it's really impressive and well worth it. I took this photo in summer of 2014.

Oh, I did not know that, interesting fact:)....

Tombstones on Jewish Cemetery, Prague

The Jewish quarter and the Jewish cemetery are interesting places to visit in Prague. The Jewish quarters were the only place where Jews were allowed to settle in Prague and since with a growing population came lack of space, the tombstones were layered on top of each other.

Inspired by the yesterdays entry I decided to go with a close up photography of the beautiful St. Barbara Church. We can see gargoyles and all the details on the window and the fence.
It amazes me how everything in goth style is so freaking scar, just the height and spikes are more than enough!

Thank you for your participation! Very nice entry. Tomas

Samson's fountain is a Baroque fountain standing on Přemysl Otakar II Square in Ceske Budejovice. This fountain was built in the period from 1721 to 1727. It is one of the largest fountains in the Czech Republic with a diameter of 17 metres. The main purpose for building this fountain was to supply the town with water. In 1990 the fountain underwent reconstruction during which the original sculptures were replaced with copies . The original sculpture works are now in the Ceske Budejovice town hall.

Rakovice in the South bohemian part of Czech Republic :-) I took it when my boyfriend and I went to visit his grandparents. It was the first time I met them and the first time he saw them in four years. It was so nice!

Thanks! The Czech nature is beautiful!

When we were on an excursion in Karlovy Vary, we decided to go our own way. Like real naturalists, we went to look for a statue of a goat on a hill. After a couple of hours, we found some good survey sites on the city. But the statue was never seen)

Took this of the cathedral in Prague while walking around. The architecture is amazing and stood out against the rest of the cities buildings. The green color roofs are common around Europe as the copper gets tarnished over time.

Prague Castle at night from atop City Hall. The view is beautiful from the top and at night the Castle is just lit up. You can see it from almost anywhere in the city, day or night.

Great shot mate!
