Hello fellow Steemians,
I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.
The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.
Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.
There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @rockmen:
On my way out of Loket, what a great view! Amazing little romantic place. Pretty quiet and remote but easy enough to reach. Just make sure you plan the return trip well, because intervals in transport can go up quite alot in weekends/evenings.

I rewarded @rockmen entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit his blog and check out some of his other entries.
Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!

Strahov monastery houses a very famous photo opportunity of a beautiful old library. as an individual you can still poke your head in and capture that iconic image. Don’t miss the on display illuminated manuscripts. You have to pay to enter, pay more to take pictures and pay a little bit more to take videos.
It is not very often for this masterpiece to make it to the contest. Definitely a great entry for today's edition. Thank you and have a great day. Tomas
Church of St. Castulus, Haštalské náměstí, Prague 1
Once upon a time there was a large Romanesque basilica from the 12th century. But its capacity was not enough. That is why it was replaced by this new building in 1375. The new building was occasionally dilapidated, occasionally renovated and upgraded. We can find Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque elements.
There is a hypothesis that the Czech Saint Anežka Přemyslovna could be buried here. Her grave, however, has not yet been found.
Česky Krumlov is a UNESCO World Heritage site - and rightly so. It is an almost unspoiled mediaeval town. It is also pure Disney! It could easily be taken as a filmset for a children's' matinée fairy tale or historical fantasy. Unsurprisingly, given its fame and world listing, it is always crowded by tourists, many of them from the far east and all endlessly photographing their friends and themselves!
Charles Bridge at morning
The sunshine lied on the Charles Bridge at morning. The lights was warm. There are many beautiful historic architectures in the distance. Prague is so charming. Usually no much more visitors at this time. It's good for photo.
Prague astronomical clock with horses
For me, this is the most beautiful sight in all of Prague. This wonderfully colorful clock always makes me sentimental. Maybe because it's so old already and has seen so much during this time? Its oldest part is from the year 1410!
Dancing House
This structure is unique in its kind. Spectacular and it seems impossible that it is there. Not very impressed. Beautiful, stylish, unusual. But in the photo the house looks much more interesting than in reality.
The Powder Tower is such a story in contrasts. The old world meets the not so old world. Beautiful tower that takes you back in time. Its almost surreal to see this tower in the middle of a more modern area. You can take pictures from the ground or climb the tower for a better view of the surroundings.
I just want to take a minute to talk about this unreal place that is never spoken of, but was one of the most beautiful, eerie, and odd places over ever visited. This is the Sedlec ossuary in the little town of Kutná Hora, just about an hour train outside of Prague. Over 40,000-70,000 skeletons have been arranged as chandeliers, coats of arms, pyramids. 40,000-70,000 people are now ornamentations.
I want to go here so bad. This would be such a creepy but cool place to visit.
Cesky Krumlov old Town is inscribed in the world Heritage Site List for a reason. It's full of history, the city is well maintained, it has many architectural details. You can walk around for two or three hours, full of places to dine and museum. The bridges over the river are so nice.
If you are planning to visit Charles Bridge during the day, then be prepared for crowds of people. We were able to talk an early morning walk to the bridge for a serene view and great photo opportunities.
The views over the river and back to the castle are superb. The bridge has a great collection of statues which are worth a look.
