Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @asuat:

Powder Tower is historic monument and is happening area adjoining to Municipal house. Its one the 13 original old city gate which separates old town from the new town. The gate was used to store gunpowder in the 17th century, hence the name Powder Tower or Powder Gate.

I rewarded @asuat entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit his blog and check out some of his other entries.

Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!

Snap shot of a masked procession that stormed the center of Prague on a cloudy autumn day a few years ago. There were hundreds of participants in the procession, wearing funny masks and costumes depicting anything from various objects and animals to famous people and politicians.

Governor's Summer Palace, view from the park Stromovka, Prague
P1100328.JPG
The summer house was built in the Gothic style at the end of the 15th century. In the 19th century it was adapted to its present form. Although it has never been used for military purposes, it is seen that it is built in a strategic location.
We also see that for the operation of the palace, another service building is needed. The service building is also an interesting neo-Gothic building.

Cesky Krumlov
This is an old town that retains the Gothic and Renaissance architecture. The area was very huge with many beatiful buildings, towers and trail walks around the city. The view from some high places was really breathtaking.

Prepare your camera, tripod and comfort sneaker. This place was really a heaven for photographers, especially who area interested in history and architecture.

Wonderful view from Charles Bridge
It is certainly one of the most interesting bridges worldwide. Ancient, with historical significance and magnificent views of the Vltava and Prague's Little Venice. Unfortunately, it was overrun by tourists and artists during the day. An evening or morning visit would be advisable.

Saint Barbara's Church in background (Czech: Chrám svaté Barbory) is a Roman Catholic church in Kutná Hora (Bohemia) in the style of a Cathedral. It is one of the most famous Gothic churches in central Europe and it is a UNESCO world heritage site. St Barbara is the patron saint of miners (among others), which was highly appropriate for a town whose wealth was based entirely upon its silver mines.

The Vrtba Garden
This garden is a little hard to find plus there is a small entrance fee but it is so worth it. Stunning, terraced, serene garden hidden away and great place to sit and take a break when visiting the Prague Castle district.

Sedlec Ossuary
It's amazing - you have to take more than one look to make certain that the chandelier is really made of bones and sculls. It looks quite wonderful. The crypt is not very bit, but the decorations are many and some of them quite exquisite.

Definitely worth watching the clock strike noon. It's beautiful and also underwhelming, the beauty of the astronomical clock is the fact that it's been running for years now. Very heart touching historical Astronomical Clock. Very impressed

Church of St. Nicholas, of course, stunning! Located in a popular tourist destination and, of course, full of visitors. The entrance is free. The huge dome of the church is amazing! This is one of the symbols of Prague. The most impressive is inside. Beautiful frescoes and organ on which Mozart himself played.
