Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @peroo:

In the Piazza del Gran Maestro, this Wall belongs to the Knights of Malta. After the death of John Lennon the young Czechs and tourists began to fill it with graffiti becoming a symbol of the pacifist struggle. It 'a film in the making because you always find someone who in addition to taking pictures of memories, adds a few words or drawings. To be seen.

Prague is really a fascinating city but it is the most charming in the old town which makes it fascinating. The medieval cathedral seems to have sprung from the fairy tales. The square is the most lively place in Prague. Both very romantic and fun.

Any trip to Prague wouldn't be fulfilled without passing through the Old Town Square at least once. What a great pic to feature in today's contest. Have a good one. Tomas

A beautiful golden sunset reflecting on the surface of the Silver Lake in Opava. A former gypsum quarry that got flooded by the nearby River Opava in 1964, the lake has been a popular recreation area for the residents of the city and its vicinity.

Not long ago there had been hosted the ˋDay of the Newborn Citizen´ in the Czech village Konárovice — it is an old tradition to welcome all ˋfreshly born´ babies into the community ~ 😄❤️ ~ And what could be nicer than seeing sweet old traditions being kept alive...! ~ Even if I personally suspect that one hidden agenda of the festivity is to also promote the various institutions of the village who organize same event - it still is a nice one and I greatly enjoyed seeing the Stain Glass Room which provided the perfect location for the affair beautifully decorated...! I admit that my picture here does not do it much justice... but I think the ˋcreepy baby´ as representative for the village‘s collective quite hilarious :)

Metronom over Prague, Letna, Prague
P1090118.JPG
Between 1955 and 1962, the giant Stalin monument was here. By 1991 there was only a huge pedestal here. Since then, there is this huge metronome from Vratislav Karel Novák.
Why is he here what he wants to say to us? Everyone must find it.

Petrin Tower
A lookout tower, built in inspiration by Eiffel Tower, located on top of the strategic Petrin hill overlooking the whole city of Prague. You can take a cable car up through the eastern side of the hill, but the more fun way to reach it is by walking uphill from Prague Castle complex or Strahov monastery.

Cesky Krumlov
Very beautiful town in the bend of the upper reaches of the Vltava, living only tourism. The rough river here is much more beautiful than the wide Prague River; great view from the bridges and embankments. If you leave Prague somewhere, they always recommend Krumlov, and I cannot disagree with that. Many also advise to go here for 2 days, but I do not think that the majority of this small town will need more than half a day. There are several observation platforms with a great view of the city, I recommend the one that is on the left side of the main temple, if you go from the central square. Prices - a big minus - do not differ from the center of Prague; The base local beer is Eggenberg.

Prague Castle
If you don't visit the castle your trip to Prague is a waste. There are 3 different kinds of entry tickets to choose from if I remember correctly, to visit different sites inside the castle. Reserve a whole day and be prepared to walk to enjoy the castle. It can be reached by the trams easily from the city. You can also take a scenic walk from old Town square through Charles bridge.

One of the biggest castles on earth which took over 700 years to build and complete the expansion that we see today. St. Vitus cathedral and St. George's basilica in the castle complex were worth visiting too. The entry to the castle is free of charge. If you visit the beautiful city of Prague, you should definitely visit this castle. Enjoy!

The dream of Český Krumlov: The pearl of Bohemia, Kulmov, surrounded by love, surrounded by love, with a warm frame, a dream, a longing for eternity, a love for eternity, an eternity. After a 4-hour train ride from Prague Republic of Chad Walk down the street, out of the woods. Find a city that is in the destination of the trip. A lovely city like a fairy tale. Cesky Krumlov is not exactly right. What is the beauty of it? The sentence "one word instead of a hundred words" may be good for this time. The depiction of beauty at this time may not be as good as sitting. Let's take a glimpse of the charm of this place.

This place has got to be one of the most fantastic sqaures in Europe. Wether you want to take in the culture, have dinner or just sit and watch the world go by this place offers it all. I was also lucky to get to see the Mattoni Prague Grand Prix start at the square recently and the atmosphere was incredible. If you are going to Prague head straight here once you get there - you wont be dissapointed.
