Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @mariainesff:

Štramberk. A small town in the Moravian-Silesian Region, Czech Republic, next to Kopřivnice. It lies on the slope of a forested lime hill, dominated by the Trúba castle tower. Because of the town's location, its many historical buildings and a unique collection of timbered houses from the 18th and 19th centuries, the town has been declared a municipal reserve and is nicknamed the Moravian Betlehem.

The Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul is located on the Petrov hill in the centre of the city of Brno in the Czech Republic. It is a national cultural monument and one of the most important pieces of architecture in South Moravia

One of the most important monuments in Brno definitely deserves more attention by being featured in today's challenge. Thank you for sharing! Tomas

Thank You very much Tomas! :)

The organization of the old city of Prague dates from the Middle Ages. Made up of narrow streets, you will discover a maze of streets. Historically, the city was turned towards the Vltava River. The alleys ran along the river where it was perpendicular.

I took this photo in the metro of Prague. I was attracted by the clear geometric forms of the escalator. It remained to give the composition a little witticism. I'm a little bored now, remembering the names of the metro stations: Mustek, Hradčanská, Malostranská...

Šaunštejn is an extinct rock castle, located in the National Park Ceskosaske Svicarsko. It originated in the middle of the 14th century and 100 years later it was abandoned. In the present day it is freely accessible even when relatively difficult to access. Under harsh weather conditions even dangerous.

This is such a great shot. I don't really like heights, so I would probably stay away from this one, especially in bad weather.

At the top of the castle you have to climb two ladders. One of them runs around the rock. And so I had trouble crawling back with my backpack. It's nothing for people who do not believe their abilities, or they are afraid of heights.

What a great entry and an amzaing image! Well done.

My favorite photo in this submission lineup :)

charles bridge - prague, czech republic This place near by Charles bridge.
Historical places are very important, to understand ancient lives of the countries. Stunning place! Loved the view and had our caricature drawn here as a keepsake. Prague is the most beautiful place I ever seen!
Incredible magical Prague! like a fairy tale! every moment can not be described with words! In love with Prague.

The Charles Bridge over the Vltava river. Can one ever have enough of it?
It changes with the light, it changes with the time of day, it changes with the weather, but every time it is just an awesome sight. If my memory serves me well, I took this shot from the Kafka museum.

I sit and rest in the front garden of a restaurant on Palacky Square in Prague. I just pulled out the camera when the grandmother of today's modern trams passed. The only thing left was to squeeze the trigger. On this unpreparedness the picture is almost pure ;-)

Pohansko castle can be found in Lednice-Valtice area (South Moravian region). It is Czech cultural monument. It was built in 1811-1812 and designed by Josef Hardtmuth and Josef Kornhausel. There is a lot of interesting things around this castle. I took pictures of some of them and will share it with you the next time 😊

Loreto is in a small town, located west of Prague Castle. Loreto is not far away. we can walk a short walk from the charles bridge. The monastery is open daily. We can take pictures in this place. Above the loreto tower there are several wind chimes.
